Gardai want to interview a member of staff who was on the premises when Chinese business man, Mr Anthony Tsang (27) was stabbed to death last Tuesday night at the Tao Tao Chinese restaurant in Patrickswell, Limerick.

Five Chinese nationals were released without charge after questioning and a file is being prepared for the DPP. Three of the men were from Wexford and the other two from Limerick.

Mr Tang, who was married with two children, also ran the Ocean Palace Chinese restaurant in Salthill, Galway. The fatal incident happened after a row broke out involving some 13 people of Chinese origin after the restaurant had closed for the night.

The man gardaí are anxious to talk to is believed to have fled from the scene. He was seen driving away and is said to have suffered some facial injuries during the fight. Supt Willie Keane, Roxboro, said they are anxious to speak to this man.
