A doctor who treated victims of the Omagh bombing has decided to remain in Northern Ireland following promises of new equipment for burns patients. Dr Khalid Khan, the North's leading burns specialist, said last month a lack of funds had made him consider accepting a position in Nottingham.
Dr Khan said the "overwhelming" response of his patients after he made the announcement had made him determined to stay.
