An application on behalf of the late Papal Nuncio to set aside a summons in relation to proceedings by a Co Wexford man who claims he was sexually abused by the late Father Sean Fortune was adjourned by the High Court.

Paul Molloy (28), of Saltmills, Fethard-on-Sea, instituted proceedings against the Bishop of Ferns, Dr Brendan Comiskey; the Papal Nuncio, Dr Luciano Storero, who is now deceased; and the late Father Sean Fortune.

The applications were adjourned by Mr Justice O'Neill to the court sitting to fix dates on Tuesday.
