Bogota - A commercial airliner carrying 22 people was hijacked yesterday, and the pilot was forced to land in an area of southern Colombia controlled by leftist rebels, according to the authorities. The hijacker claimed that he belonged to the Marxist guerrilla group, the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC), the authorities said.
