The youth was first convicted in September 1999, at the age of 14 - Larceny, involving handling stolen goods; Failing to appear in court; Larceny.
He was sentenced to one month's detention in Oberstown House.
On May 11th, 2000, he received 10 convictions - Three breaches of the Public Order Act, involving breach of the peace; One breach of the Public Order Act, involving trespass; Interfering with a vehicle; Larceny; Refusing to leave a premises when told; Two instances of failing to appear in court; Obstruction under the Misuse of Drugs Act (usually meaning disposing of a cannabis cigarette).
He was bound over to keep out of trouble for two years.
