Jakarta - Indonesia withdrew 300 more troops from East Timor yesterday as part of a move to help settle the future of the troubled territory, the official news agency Antara reported.

The withdrawal was the second in a three-stage pull out, following the removal on July 28th of some 400 troops, it said.
