London - Some 23 people were hurt in a roller-coaster accident at the Pleasure Beach amusement park in Blackpool yesterday.
"There was some kind of collision between a couple of carriages," a Lancashire police spokeswoman said. Firefighters freed four people with cutting gear. Two boys are believed to have suffered serious fractures.
