DUBLIN: The Republic of Ireland football team will play Brazil this evening in Lansdowne Rd so traffic will be busy in the Ballsbridge area, with traffic restrictions surrounding the stadium.

Reconstruction on Portobello Bridge, the road has been reduced to one lane each way. No left turn across the bridge for east on Grove Road and no left turn heading South onto Canal Rd for Rathmines.

R106 Dublin Road in Malahide will be closed at the Casino site on Saturday February 21st and Sunday February 22nd. Traffic diverted via Dublin Road, Back Road and Church Road. The car- park at the Demesne Golf Club will be closed.

One-way system in place on Ballyogan Road in Stepaside, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., from Monday to Friday.

One-way system along Birch's Lane towards Upper Kilmacud Road, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., Monday to Friday, and 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturdays.

KILDARE: Temporary traffic diversion on N4 west of Kilcock. Westbound traffic diverted towards central reserve. Eastbound traffic moved slightly towards hard shoulder, while two new bridges on the Kilcock to Kinnegad bypass are built. Minor delays.

WICKLOW: Works on the Ashford to Rathnew bypass and speed limit is 40 mph, so drive with care in the area.

WESTMEATH: Roadworks outside the AIT in Athlone until the March 5th, and temporary traffic lights are in place. There are also broadband and Bord Gáis works taking place in the same area so traffic is being severely disrupted.

KILKENNY: One-way system on High St from The Parade to Bateman Quay northbound. It will be single lane one-way to north (i.e. The Parade to Parliament Street) Restrictions will apply. This is for Broadband Telecommunication works. Delays are expected.

LOUTH: Lane closures on M1 from Monasterboice to Dundalk to install a safety barrier. This section has had many serious and fatal incidents, many caused by caused by speeding and vehicles crossing over the central reserve intooncoming traffic. Lane closure begins, 6 a.m. until 6.30 p.m. for the next week. 50 mph speed limit. Gardaí will monitor drivers and access safety issues.

LIMERICK: Drain & gully cleaning works on Childers Rd every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Works begin at Parkway Roundabout (adjacent to Homebase) continues south towards junction with Ballinacurra Road at Southville. Slight delays. Restrictions on Rutland St at Bank Place (N20). Delays expected for all outbound traffic to Corbally and Dublin.

TIPPERARY: Race meeting on Thurles racecourse tomorrow, between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. Traffic busier on N62 as a result.

CORK: Restrictions on N22 (Cork/Killarney Rd) at Ovens. Lane width restrictions for the construction of a pedestrian bridge as part of the Ballincollig Bypass Project.
