Routes to avoid around the country
DUBLIN:
Until Sunday, February 19th, Green Lane, Rathcoole is closed from junction with Johnstown Road (aka Kilteel Road) to junction with St Anne's Terrace (a distance of approx 115m), to complete road widening of Green Lane, Rathcoole. Alternative routes via: Green Lane, Stony Hill Lane, Rathcoole Main Street. Diversion signs will be erected. Local access will be maintained at all times.
Until February 26th, Camden Row closed for road improvements. Westbound traffic along Camden Row diverts via Camden Street - Pleasants Street - Heytesbury Street. Eastbound traffic on Camden Row diverts via New Bride Street - Heytesbury Street - Harrington Street - Camden Street.
KILDARE:
Until at least February 26th, the Newbridge Inner Relief Rd is one-way between Athgarvan Row & Dunnes Stores.
GALWAY:
Until March 13th, expect delays on the N59 at Moycullen Village, for major road works. Detour at various times.
KERRY:
Expect delays on the Conor Pass Road due to major road works. Use the N86 between Dingle and Camp via Annascaul.
LIMERICK:
Until Friday, March 10th, the LP1544 at Granagh closed from the LS8657/LS8658 junction to LS6033 junction. The road is closed for 1.4km and will be closed from 8am to 6pm (Monday to Friday) and from 9am to 6pm (Saturdays), for laying new watermain as part of the Granagh Group Water Supply Scheme.
Until mid-March, major road works on the Childers Road R509 (between the Parkway roundabout and the Bloodmill Road). Expect delays in peak traffic periods - avoid this location between 8.30am to 9.30am and 5pm to 6pm Monday to Saturday if possible.
CORK:
Today, tomorrow and Friday, there may be delays on Wilton Road inbound from 9.30am to 4pm because of gas works.
Also today, expect delays on Blackrock Road (Park Avenue) from 7.30pm to 11pm because of gas works.
Expect delays on Victoria Cross Road from 8pm to 11pm and on Lower Grattan's Hill from 9.30am to 1pm.
Tomorrow Fitton Street East closed from 7.30am to 5pm for works.
There may be delays tomorrow on Curraheen Road from 7.30pm to 11pm.
On Friday expect delays on Convent Road (Blackrock) from 9.30am to 1pm for gas works.
Until Friday, March 3rd, a section of Clogheen Road closed. Closure is adjacent to Village Green, Blarney from junction with the R617 to bridge over the River Martin.
From Tower travel on relief road. If travelling from Clogheen - use the Hedge Road to intersection of link road and the Maxol Station, then turn left for Blarney Village or travel on relief road to Tower. The closure is to complete storm water pipeline construction for Blarney R617 Resurfacing & Improvements Work.
On Sunday, February 19th, Kilbarry Rd in Dunmanway will close from Dunmanway Town to Knockbuee from 1pm to 5pm. Alternative route via Dunmanway, Derragh Bridge, Inch Rd, Kilbarry Rd East and Kilbarry Rd North. This is for horse trotting races.
