A guide to the week's expected traffic hotspots.
DUBLIN: The stretch of the M1/N1 between Collins Ave at Whitehall and Coolock interchange at Santry will be closed or severely restricted to traffic (Fridays 10pm through to Mondays 6am) for up to four weekends, starting this Friday, August 9th.

Alternative routes will be clearly sign posted and motorists are requests to follow the signs.
LAOIS: Resurfacing on the N7 in Ballybrittas from 8.30am to 5.30pm next Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with single-lane traffic northbound. The diversion route will be to New Inn Cross, Kennels Cross, Portarlington and Killenure.
LIMERICK: Current diversion route and two-way traffic will continue to operate on the Dublin Rd at Groodey Bridge until the end of August. Upper Cecil St closed to through traffic from Catherine St to O'Connell St until Tuesday, August 13th. Residential and business access from Catherine St only.
