Clonsilla Dublin 15:  The last six four-bedroom semis are showing this weekend at Lynam Homes' Sorrel Park development at Clonsilla, Dublin 15. Douglas Newman Good will be handling sales.

Traditional semi-detached houses with back gardens and private driveways are a scarce commodity, so there should be good interest in these last few houses. Off Shelerin Road, Sorrel Park is a sister development to Limelawn Park, an adjacent scheme which is now sold out. The showhouse for Sorrel is located at the front entrance to Limelawn in Clonsilla. A commuter train station is about 10 minutes' walk from the site.

Prices start at €330,000 for 124.5 sq m (1,340 sq ft) of accommodation. Frontages are of yellow Butterly brick, with an unusual arched first floor window above the porch. Two styles are on offer, one with a separate sittingroom to the front with a fireplace, the other with connecting sitting and diningrooms.

Viewers will approve of large kitchen/breakfastrooms which benefit from good natural light from skylights set into pine-panelled ceilings and glass doors to the garden. Wall tiling is standard and bedrooms come with fitted wardrobes. Family-sized back gardens are levelled and seeded, with a timber deck outside the kitchen door.

Railed front gardens with driveways are seeded and planted with shrubs. Arranged in quiet cul-de- sacs, the houses at Sorrel Park are likely to be targeted by young families trading up. Completions are expected from autumn 2004. Viewing is this weekend.
