Location: former Viking Adventure Centre and Museum, 15-19 Essex Street West, Temple Bar, Dublin 8. Proposed development: Girls School area (protected structure) - change of use from exhibition hall/museum to a school of acting and associated office spaces. Remove internal stairs and toilets, new three-storey stairs and stair enclosure to rear courtyard (Blind Quay Courtyard side), and modifications and extension to lift shaft and insertion of new dormer-style office at second floor/roof level. Internal modifications include inserting new partitions and doors. Black Box area - new stairs and lift enclosure serving the new theatre in the St Michael and St Johns Church and associated modifications to theatre space in the Black Box and first floor kitchens and servery and conversion of theatre bar/café. Location: site adjacent to main entrance of Glasnevin Cemetery, Finglas Road, Dublin 11. Proposed development: three-storey heritage centre of two storeys over lower ground floor/basement and including exhibition/display area, lecture theatre, cafeteria, public toilets and areas for staff and grounds maintenance. Restor, refurbish and minor alterations to former Superintendents Lodge on Finglas Road.
