DÚN LAOGHAIRE RATHDOWN

Location: Jefferson Smurfit former HQ, UCD Campus, Beech Hill Road, near junction of Clonskeagh Road and Clonskeagh Drive, Dublin 14. Proposed development: 10-year permission for a mixed-use scheme in 21 blocks from one to eight storeys. Total of 363 residential units in 17 blocks from one to seven storeys (62 one-beds, 157 two-beds, 59 three-beds, 60 three-bed duplexes and 25 four-bed terraced houses). Three office buildings from six to eight storeys, neighbourhood centre around a public plaza comprising a crèche with outdoor play area and community centre, local shop and café. Two single storey basements comprising 642 car-parking spaces and 508 bicycle parking spaces at basement one level and 29 car-parking spaces and 18 cycle spaces at basement two level, and 109 car-parking spaces and 169 cycle spaces at surface level (total of 780 car-parking spaces and 695 cycle parking spaces). Proposed development: demolish two semi-detached houses for an apartment scheme of three two-beds on the ground floor, six two-beds at first and second floors with 16 underground car-parking spaces and associated landscaping and site works. Location: Esmonde Motors site, The Hill, Old Stillorgan Road, Stillorgan, Co Dublin. Proposed development: demolish all structures on site for a mixed-use development from three to 11 storeys and comprising 141 apartments (35 one-beds, 81 two-beds and 25 three-beds); a 38 one-bed apart-hotel, restaurant with outside terrace café, crèche with private play area, pub, retail units and 335 car-parking spaces, site works and landscaping. Proposed development: residential units, shared residents facilities, office unit and basement car-parking comprising four separate residential elements located at the corner of the site to provide for a total of 94 residential units (15 one-beds, 43 two-beds, 34 three-beds and two four-beds), gym, cinema, conference room and hospitality suite. Proposed development: demolish 17 Benburb Street (H Mathews pub) and factory building for 87 residential units (23 one-beds, 44 two-beds and 20 three-beds) in three blocks from four to 10 storeys over two basement levels. Location: 159-161 Rathmines Road Lower, Rathmines, Dublin 6. Proposed development: demolish two two-storey terrace houses to the front and single storey auction halls to the rear for 13 one-beds, 21 two-beds and four three-beds in three interlinked blocks of four to six storeys, connected by a ground floor building incorporating auction rooms and storage area to the back with a pub and office to Rathmines Road. Location: 78 & 80 Merrion Road, on corner of Merrion Road and Sandymount Avenue, Ballsbridge, on lands to rear of 1 & 2 Spafield Terrace, Dublin 4. Proposed development: redevelop 78 and 80 Merrion Road from guesthouse to eight apartments. Demolish return attached to the rear of No 80. Demolish mews house and storage shed to the rear of No 80 (1 Spafield Terrace) and demolish two-storey dwelling to the rear of No 78 (2 Spafield Terrace). Construct 15 apartments in a three to four-storey building extending from the rear of No 80 along Sandymount Avenue and extending onto Spafield Terrace.
