Lisney is to sell the leasehold interest in a year-old office building mainly occupied by computer software company Kindle at East Point Business Park in the Dublin docklands. The lease will be sold by tender at the end of July. The 40,000 sq ft building is rented as temporary space at a modest rent of £10.25 per sq ft and £500 for 57 car-parking spaces. New buildings in the same park are letting at £14 per sq ft. Kindle spent in excess of £1 million on a high specification fit-out. There are no break clauses in the 20-year lease. One of the floors is sublet to AOL Bertelsman, with break options by either party in the year 2000. Qualifying companies will be able to claim double rent allowances and rates relief. Kindle also occupies the main 65,000 sq ft office block in East Point.
