Two and three-bedroom apartments and three-bed houses went on sale off the plans yesterday in the first phase of a new housing development, St John's, at Ashbourne, Co Meath.

The scheme, being handled by Hamilton Osborne King, will eventually have 134 two and three-bedroom units.

Two-bedroom apartments with 638 sq. ft start at £87,500 and two-bedroom mid-terrace houses with 719 sq. ft begin at £94,000.

Three-bedroom duplex apartments with 1,000 sq. ft cost from £99,950, and three-bedroom houses with 880 sq. ft start at £105,000 and go up to £117,500 with 1,092 sq. ft.
