In Foxrock, Daphne L Kaye & Associates achieved over the guide price of £900,000 prior to auction for Rathenree, on Gordon Avenue. Built in 1927, the 2,200 sq ft detached house stands on a third of an acre gardens. It has four reception rooms and four bedrooms.

In Mount Merrion, a three-bedroom semi-detached house at 50 Thornhill Road was sold at a Douglas Newman Good auction for £340,000.

Gunne Residential is seeking £750,000-plus for Sarnath, a four-bedroom bungalow at Old Bray Road, Cabinteely, following its withdrawal from auction at £700,000.

A three-bedroom bungalow on 0.75 acres, Gorse Hill, New Road, Greystones, was withdrawn at £250,000 and sold later for a higher price through Jackson-Stops.

In Sandycove, a two-bedroom mews house, Islington Lodge, on Islington Avenue, Sandycove, was withdrawn by Douglas Newman Good, which is seeking £350,000.

In Terenure, a five-bedroom Edwardian house at 29 Eaton Square was sold at a Lisney auction for £610,000.

Gunne Residential is seeking over £440,000 for 49 Upper Mountpleasant Avenue, a Victorian three-bedroom house in Rathmines, following its withdrawal from auction.

A four-bedroom detached house at 9 Redwood Court, Churchtown, Dublin 14, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is seeking £475,000.

In the city centre, a three-storey period house at 43 Dominick Street Lower, Dublin 1, was withdrawn at £535,000 and sold later for a higher price through Sherry FitzGerald.

Sherry FitzGerald achieved £415,000 at auction for 6 Iona Drive, Drumcondra, a four-bedroom semi-detached house.

Provincial

In Co Dublin, 25 acres of agricultural land at Crooksling, Saggart, was sold at auction for £335,000 through J. P. & M. Doyle.

In Rathdrum, Co Wicklow, a detached four-bedroom house on half an acre, The Rectory, was sold at auction for £350,000 through A.S. Delahunt.

In Co Meath, a six-bedroom house on 52 acres, Kingston Lodge, Hayes, Navan, was withdrawn at £925,000 and sold later for more than £1 million by Ganly Walters.

Also in Co Meath, Sherry & Associates withdrew two sites at Ballymurphy, Dunshaughlin. A 1.1-acre site was withdrawn at £67,000 while 2.6 acres was withdrawn at £130,000. Both sites are under negotiation. Coonan fetched £732,500 at auction for Daramona House, a four-bedroom period house on 140 acres at Street, Co Westmeath. In Dundalk, 28 acres of land at Lisdoo, Doylesfort Road, was withdrawn and is under negotiation through McArdle Auctioneers.

In Co Clare, three acres with outline planning for a house at Aughinish, Burren, Co Clare, was withdrawn by Casey Properties, which is quoting £80,000.

Commercial

In Co Louth, McLaughlins Bar, Omeath, a residential licensed premises, was withdrawn at £340,000 and is under negotiation through Gunne Commercial.

A commercial/investment property, Lehanes at Emily Square, Athy, Co Kildare, was withdrawn at £525,000 and is under negotiation through Bryan O'Doherty.

A seven-acre site with planning permission for 25 houses at Station Road, Portarlington, Co Laois, was withdrawn at £800,000 and is under negotiation through joint agents Hamilton Osborne King and Matt Dunne.
