Four-bed Blackrock semi makes £350-000-plus

A four-bedroom, semi-detached house at 54 Wynberg Park, Blackrock, Co Dublin, was sold prior to auction for over the guide price of £350,000-plus by Hamilton Osborne King.

Lisney is seeking £500,000 for a four-bedroom mid-terrace house at 29 Rathfarnham Road, Terenure, following its withdrawal from auction at £460,000.

Smith Auctioneers sold 72 acres of land at Ballymagarvey, Balrath, Co Meath, at auction for £550,000.

A four-bedroom cottage with outbuildings on 45.5 acres at Curragha, Kilbrew, Ashourne, Co Meath, was withdrawn at £453,000 and sold later for a higher figure through joint agents Grimes and Dillon.

Near Garristown, a house on 30 acres at Moorepark, Ardcath, was auctioned in two lots by Gunne Residential. Lot 1, the house on 1.06 acres, sold for £210,000 while Lot 2, comprising 31 acres, was withdrawn at £181,000 and is under negotiation.

A 200-acre non-residential farm at Newcastle, Kilmainhamwood, was withdrawn at £850,000 and is under negotiation through Gunne Residential.

Still in Co Meath, a commercial site on Main Street, Dunboyne, was withdrawn at £260,000 and is under negotiation through Foley Auctioneers.

In Co Wicklow, J P & M Doyle sold a one-acre site with planning permission for a bungalow at Ballyknockan, Blessington, at auction for £156,000.

Myles Doyle is seeking £270,000 for a fourbedroom bungalow on 0.3 acres at 14 Cornagower East, Brittas Bay, following its withdrawal from auction.

In Salthill, Co Galway, 20 Ard Na Mara, a three-bedroom semi-detached house in need of refurbishment, was sold at auction for £180,000 by O'Donnellan & Joyce.

A 20-bedroom nursing home, St Annes Nursing Home at Woodford, Co Galway, was withdrawn at £180,000 and is under negotiation through Brendan Touhy.

In pub sales, John Younge is quoting £800,000-plus for The Mill public house on Old Road, Rush, Co Dublin, following its withdrawal from auction.

Gunne Commercial failed to sell two pubs: The Parnell house, at 123-125 Malahide Road in Dublin 3, and The Irish House at 79-90 Grove Road, Rathmines. In Co Galway, Keanes public house at Creggs Village was withdrawn at £230,000 and is under negotiation through John Earley.
