Glenageary: €2.3m: Occupied by the same family for over 50 years , Beechgrove, on Lower Glenageary Road, Co Dublin, will be auctioned on November 15th and has an AMV of €2.3 million.

The 19th century four-bedroom house was recently refurbished and rewired and extends to over 274sq m (2,945sq ft). The agent Sherry FitzGerald says there is potential to extend further subject to planning permission. Accessed by electronic gates and a gravelled driveway, Beechgrove has off-street parking for several cars and mature lawns to the front, side and rear which has two rockeries.

There are three reception rooms, one a spacious living/diningroom with large bay window that has views of the garden, polished floorboards and a black marble fireplace . A family room has recessed lighting and a storage cupboard. Also on the ground floor the kitchen/breakfastroom has a sandstone tiled floor and cream fitted units with mahogany countertops. Upstairs, the family bathroom has a bath and a separate walk-in shower. A reception room with a marble and cast iron fireplace on this level could be converted into an extra bedroom.
