PRODUCT OF THE WEEK

Hard Candy Key to My Heart lip-gloss, €8 from Roches Stores This ultra-cute resin cube makes locating keys at the bottom of a handbag a far easier task, but click it open and there are two shades of lip gloss inside - one with solid colour, the other full of sparkle.

TREATMENT OF THE WEEK

Balneotherapy, €50 at Revive, Milltown Road, Dublin 6 (01-2604781) Hopping into a warm bath is always good, but Revive's souped-up water jet treatment is even better. Fifteen minutes of muscle pounding while immersed in fortified water (choose de-stress, muscle-ease, detox or algae) is bliss. An energising treatment, even better when combined with Swedish massage (ask for Tracy) as muscles are warm and ready for a pummelling.

TIP OF THE WEEK

Ouch! Some leg shaving agonies can be averted. Don't shave legs before a spa treatment if it involves body scrubs of any sort. It will sting like crazy, especially if there's salt involved. Secondly, Compeed has recently launched an invisible "liquid bandage" that can be applied to nicks and cuts to stop bleeding and protect the wound - without unsightly sticking plaster - until it's healed. Handy for razor slips.
