The Get Running graduates were out in force at the Flora Women's Mini Marathon in Dublin on the June bank holiday Monday. Many of you shared your stories and pictures with us, and we are delighted to publish a selection of your inspiration. Your enthusiasm, vigour and commitment shine through your words and smiles, and we are so glad for you.

Fiona Ledwidge told us she cried when she got over the finish line: "I never knew I had it in me." And Susan Holmgren says Get Running has been "a fantastic journey that has made such a difference in our lives, and we couldn't have done it without you".

Well, we can't do it without you, either. So please run with us over the summer at irishtimes.com/getrunning, keep up with us on Facebook and Twitter, send your stories and pictures to fitness@irishtimes.com and read our fitness page in Health+Family every Tuesday in "The Irish Times". You can sign up to our courses at any time, and watch out for Mary Jennings's new course at the end of the summer.
