CLOTHES LINES:"Fashion drawings can be works of art," maintains Clodagh Hannon of the Tramyard Gallery in Dalkey who, for the second year running, has commissioned Peter O'Brien's drawings for a New Year diary.

Fashion lovers with busy schedules who still haven't organised their 2009 diaries will appreciate the new one, which contains a collection of his original designs for Rochas in Paris, where he was the créateurfor 10 years.

Some of the drawings featured include a Ginger Rogers dress in satin and chiffon and an Orientalist gown in printed georgette from 2001.
