CLOTHES LINES:A bite-sized Lanvin dress or a Louboutin macaroon anybody? Afternoon tea, cakes and pastries inspired by the latest fashion designs are part of the ultra-stylish afternoon tea, Prêt-a-Portea, which makes its Irish debut at Harvey Nichols in Dundrum from Tuesday, April 28th until Saturday, May 2nd. Guests will savour delicacies inspired by runway hits or the season's trends, such as a chocolate sponge cake prompted by Michael Kors' red and blue striped regatta dress, or a miniature replica Pauric Sweeney bag. The Berkeley Hotel in London launched its first Prêt-a-Portea four years ago, and it has attracted celebrities such as Kate Moss and Gwyneth Paltrow. In Dundrum, Prêt-a-Portea will be served daily from 3-5pm in the first floor restaurant, and will cost €30 per person, or €40 with a glass of champagne. Tea for two will be €75, including champagne.
