Comfort and fit are essential when you're on the run and need to look presentable

Keping it simple and stylish this week, we meet up with Charlie Clinch from Blackrock in Dublin to chat about his style choices. Newly signed model Charlie is about to hit the London fashion scene. Modelling is not the glamorous life some make it out to be and it’s important to have comfortable, well-fitting clothes when you are running around the city and need to look presentable.

We predict Charlie will be Ireland’s next superstar – so keep your eyes peeled for him over the coming months. Below, Charlie tells us a bit about the pieces he’s wearing today:

Jacket: Pull and Bear, €30 
This jacket is great for Irish weather, fits well and the black goes with most trousers and shoes

Jeans: H&M, €40
I find H&M have great line of men's jeans – these are easy to move in and are very comfortable to wear.

Shoes: Leather Converse, €90
Converse are pretty much a staple shoe, and in white they match with many different outfits which makes them versatile. I would definitely wear them a lot.

T-shirt: Jack&Jones, €30
A great fitting T-shirt that is soft and can be worn with loads of things. They also come in a range of colours so I stock up everytime I go shopping.

Pants/socks: Calvin Klein, €30
Calvin Klein underwear are extremely comfortable to wear and the look and fit of them are great.

How would you describe your personal style?
Slim trousers and fitted T-shirts – my personal style would be quite casual. I lean towards clothes that are be comfortable and that would look well. Sometimes you can't beat a good pair of jeans or trousers and a fitted T-shirt.

With summer just around the corner, what are you looking forward to most?
What I'm looking forward to most this summer is heading over to Portugal with my family for a holiday. We always go down to the beaches there and go jumping off the cliffs into the sea.
