On her social media platforms, Niamh shared a video of the pair in happier times. She said: “The unimaginable has happened. Our worst nightmare.

“My beautiful husband has been taken from us.”
She added: “The light of my life. I was the luckiest to be loved and adored by you Jamie. I love you endlessly, not just now, but eternally.”
The Dublin native revealed her husband’s diagnosis earlier this month, highlighting his “strength throughout this entire journey”.
She explained how a serious surgery before Christmas last year resulted in the discovery of a cancerous tumour.
Following his 10th chemotherapy session, Gill was taken to hospital once again and diagnosed with sepsis, which then led to pneumonia.
In response to the news, Jess Redden, model and wife of former rugby player Rob Kearney, said: “Seeing you so much love Niamh. Jamie was a hero and so lucky to have loved and be loved by you.”
Model Rozanna Purcell added: “Niamh, you and Jamie deserved to have the best long life of marriage. The world is so unfair, what a lovely genuine person he was. I’m so sorry the worst has happened.”
