Paul Seawright is well known for his photographic exploration of urban spaces that reflect the hidden fabric of social ills, tensions and "fractures". In his third American project he discovers the makeshift urban landscapes of "the convicted and dispossessed" across North America's rust belt, "unintended clusters of ex-offenders" in small rural towns, "hidden in plain sight".
