Electric Underground is Cork’s finest showcase of new underground electronic music, and its third birthday bill is as wide and deep (and Irish and international) as we’ve come to expect.

In Chris Clark, Loops Haunt, P45 and Today FM’s Donal Dineen, you have EU’s calling card in a nutshell – a club night where quality sounds are the only thing that matter.

Warp act Clark had an excellent 2009, thanks to his Totems Flarealbum, which established him as a producer with a fondness for pushing bass, electro and Detroit bittersweetness to the fore.

Loops Haunt is a Scottish producer establising a rep for jawdropping live shows on the back of recent Aphex Twin supports, and whose mangled, deep and out-there sound will be documented on releases for Black Acre and Fortified Glasgow.

P45’s experimental glitchy sounds and Dineen’s Small Hours-style electronica round off what should be an excellent night out.
