Ellie Goulding in Dublin:Ellie Goulding, winner of the BBC Sound of 2010 poll and this year's Brit Awards Critics' Choice, will play Dublin's Academy on March 14th. Tickets are on sale tomorrow.
Stars on 45:Three stars from the worlds of music and film have announced plans to start their own record label. Jim James of My Morning Jacket has founded the web-based Removador Recordings, while Billy Corgan and Guy Ritchie have also become bosses of their own mini-empires.
Devo development:Legendary new-wave band Devo will have at least part of their new album produced by none other than Santigold. The album, tentatively titled Fresh, is their first in 20 years and is due later this year.
New Newsom:Joanna Newsom will release the long-awaited follow up to 2006's Ys. Have One on Me is the harpist and pianist's third album, and is out on Drag City in late February.
