Just finished my two english papers and i felt paper 2 was far easier than paper 1!? - kate
did pass english. none of my poets came up and i still found it easy - willie power

I did my my Leaving last year so I know how you all feel, its a tough few days and a crap way of deciding your future but thats just the way it is. Just try your best thats all anyone can do. Trust me, this time next year it will all be a very distant, if somewhat scary memory ! - Susan, Ardee
Just finished english paper 1. Was a walk in the park. Nervous going in but something happenen and everything went well! Thank god. Lets just hope I can cope with the poetry now! - Anon
It is very hard to ask a 16/17/18 year old to decide the rest of their lives by one exam. In my opinion continuous assessment is the way to go - Anon

half the stuff we study we will never use again, there should be more more choices, and less subjects for the LC - me
In germany we got 4 big tests in every subject which made 80% of the final grade. Then we had small test which were 10% and behaving which was 10%. I think that is better then here cos u dont have 2 study everything in a few weeks. - dont needa know
There should be an overall assessment of the work done in the 2/3 years. I have hayfever and this makes concerntrating on stuff that wont matter once the exam is over v hard!!
I cant write fast so im goin 2 fail everything, even though im able to do it normally, and how r u meant 2 write a 3 page essay for english in 1 hour!!!!! Its IMPOSSIBLE to finish the english papers on time!!! - Caitriona

I think because there is so much hipe about the jc that students get freaked out and create a mental block - stiener
Why are we expected to remember so much information that we will never use again! also the exam times are incredibly unfair especially in the core subjects like english! - Robert
