Netflix releases first snippet of ‘dry comedy’ ‘Flaked’
Irish actor Ruth Kearney co-stars alongside co-creator and main draw Will Arnett
Will Arnett and Ruth Kearney in Netflix’s ‘Flaked’: the show will arrive on the streaming service on March 11th
Kearney , who previously appeared in The Following and Primeval, will play a love-interest character called London alongside co-creator and main draw Will Arnett in the California-set story of “reinvention, friendship and bullshit”. Dubliner Kearney joins Kerry Condon (ex-Rome) in the ranks of Irish acting talent to win roles thanks to Netflix’s massive investment in original content, with the latter appearing in Breaking Bad spin-off Better Call Saul.
Later this year, Jamie Dornan will be seen in the film Jadotville, a Netflix-acquired war drama about the 1961 Siege of Jadotville, with Dornan featuring as the commander of an Irish United Nations battalion under attack by 3,000 Congolese troops.
