Lifestyle Sports take over former HMV store

Lifestyle Sports have taken over the former HMV shop in Drogheda's Scotch Hall shopping centre, trebling the size of its space to 590sq m (6,350sq ft).

Carraig Donn has also opened a flagship store on the ground floor with a floor area of 297sq m (3,200sq ft). The company is paying a base rent plus 8 per cent of turnover. A new musical store and Euro 2 are also moving into the centre.

Simon Plunkett of Douglas Newman Good Commercial Property, who handled the lettings, has also let two large stores at MacDonagh Junction shopping centre in Kilkenny to Jack and Jones and Name It. In both cases the tenants will pay a base rent as well as 7 per cent of turnover.
