Halfway House bar acquired by northside publican

Walkinstown bar believed to have made well in excess of its €1.5m guide price

The Halfway House bar in Walkinstown, Co Dublin, has been sold on the instructions of receivers Grant Thornton.

The business has been acquired by northside publican Eamonn O’Malley, who also owns Fagans in Drumcondra, The Autobahn in Glasnevin and The Yacht in Clontarf.

\John Ryan of CBRE, who handled the sale, would not disclose the selling price, but market sources have indicated that it made well in excess of its €1.5 million guide price.
