€1.1m for Georgian office building at Fitzwilliam Place

The fall in values in the Georgian office market is underlined again this week with the planned sale of a good quality period building at 42 Fitzwilliam Place in Dublin 2.

Paul Finnucane of agent Colliers is looking for in excess of €1.1 million for the four-storey over basement building, a price equating to €2,500 per sq metre (€232.40 per sq ft) for the 435sq m (4,682sq ft) property.

The building has been well maintained and though currently in office use could easily be converted into a distinctive town residence.

There are five car parking spaces to the rear of the building.
