Pharmaceutical community gathers to celebrate a year of progress and operational excellence

Gathering the companies, teams and leaders of the Irish pharma and biopharma industries for a night of networking and celebration, the Pharma Industry Awards showcased impressive innovations and significant accomplishments over the past 12 months

Now in its ninth year, the Pharma Industry Awards recognised an impressive collection of projects and initiatives, all in competition for one of 29 prestigious trophies to be won.

The winners were announced at a live awards ceremony on November 10th at the Dublin Convention Centre, hosted by Jarlath Regan

The Irish Times was Communications Partner to the Awards, which were supported by Shannon ABC, The National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training, The Pharmaceutical Managers’ Institute of Ireland, and Amárach Research.

Notable winners on the night included Brian Glennon and Mark Barrett, co-recipients of the Pharma Leader 2022 Award, and APC, which took the Grand Prix, Pharma Industry Company of the Year Award.

Mark Barrett, group chief executive and co-founder of APC & VLE Therapeutics, said, “With a team of almost 300 pharma professionals, we have worked on over 400 medicines in the last 10 years. They were joined on the podium by United Drug.
