Gardaí investigating the murder of Jason Tolan in Dublin's latest fatal shooting have released a woman from custody.

Gardaí investigating the murder of Jason Tolan in Dublin's latest fatal shooting have released a woman from custody.

Mr Tolan, with an address at Drumheath Drive, Mulhuddart, was shot in the right leg on waste ground between Mulhuddart village and the Wellview estate at 4 p.m. last Tuesday. He was rushed to James Connolly Memorial Hospital were he died an hour later.

A woman (22) arrested yesterday was released this morning having been questioned at Blanchardstown Garda station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.

A man (23) remains in custody. Mr Tolan is understood to have been an associate of members of the Westies drugs gang - based in Dublin.
