More job losses in the Northern Ireland manufacturing sector were confirmed today by the Calcast plant in Campsie, Co Derry.

More job losses in the Northern Ireland manufacturing sector were confirmed today by the Calcast plant in Campsie, Co Derry.

The car components manufacturer, owned by French parent Montupet, confirmed some 90 jobs are to go next month. 

Calcast, which makes cylinder heads for the Ford Explorer 4x4, blamed the shutdown of the plant on the global financial crisis.
