`Furbycide' after fakes seizures

London - More than 20,000 fake Furby toys were being shredded by game makers Hasbro yesterday. The mass "Furbycide" at the manufacturer's London headquarters followed the seizure of more than 70,000 fakes in raids throughout Europe.

The manufacturer estimates that counterfeiters are costing it more than £20 million in revenue each year.
