London - Forensic experts were yesterday examining a silver Subaru Impreza car which police believe was used as a getaway vehicle by armed men who fired shots inside Slough Magistrates' Court and helped two remand prisoners escape from the building earlier this week, Rachel Donnelly reports.

A member of the public discovered the car on the Surrey-Berkshire border a few hours after one of the two prisoners, Mr Ricky Loveridge (22), who was on remand at Bullingdon prison in Oxfordshire charged with conspiracy to burgle, was re-arrested in Maidenhead. Police last night charged him with unlawful escape. Detailed forensic examination of the Slough courtroom and surrounding area was continuing as the search for the armed men and the other remand prisoner, Mr Richard Hurley (19), who was on remand charged with burglary, was enlarged to cover the Berkshire and Surrey areas.
