Ulster will be without their inspirational out-half David Humphreys when they step out against French champions Biarritz in the Heineken Cup this afternoon.

The Ireland international failed a morning fitness test on the hamstring injury he picked up in training during the week.

His place in the team goes to Adam Larkin who moves from centre while Jan Cunningham comes off the bench to partner Jonny Bell in midfield.

Ulster, like Biarritz, have registered four points from three games in Pool 6 but Alan Solomons outfit need to win on French soil today to keep their qualification hopes alive.
