Medical firm plan to raise 3.7m

Irish medical devices firm ClearStream Technologies plans to raise £3.2 million (€3

Irish medical devices firm ClearStream Technologies plans to raise £3.2 million (€3.7 million) in a share placing at 20p per ordinary share, the AIM-listed company said yesterday.

The placing price is at a discount of 33 per cent to the stock’s closing share price last Friday. The placed shares represent 37 per cent of the enlarged issued share capital, the company said. An egm will be held on July 31st to approve the share placing.

ClearStream chief Andy Jones said the move would allow it to renegotiate agreements with clinical trials firm Icon relating to Intrepide stents.
