Ah, the auld internet makes the world an awful small place, especially for Achill Island emigrants in Chicago, Canberra and Cork who can keep up to date with their local team's progress by logging on to the club website. (Thanks to Philip McNulty, PRO of Achill Rovers, for letting us know about its existence). The site is run by Kevin Fallon, the Achill Rovers midfielder who helped his side win the Mayo Premier League this season, finishing two points clear of Ballyheane. Mayo football followers should also check out the Mayo Association Football League site whioch can be located at (http://www.castlebar.ie/clubs/mayo-association-football-league/) for further information (including league tables and match reports) on the season just past.
