Skerries debut is delayed

Snow caused the postponement of the Leinster Schoolboys junior hockey cup final, arranged for Grange Road yesterday. Holy Faith De La Salle Skerries, having beaten Wesley, Sandford Park and King's Hospital, were due to make their first appearance in a decider, with St Andrew's as their opponents. This game, as well as the other under-13 final involving Wesley and King's Hospital, has been rescheduled for March 27th.

Meanwhile the Leinster colts under-16 competition will be decided between Railway Union and Three Rock Rovers at Grange Road on Monday (4.0) after the YMCA-Glenanne Mills Cup final. Three sets of brothers - the O'Briens, the O'Mearas and the Carrolls - will be lining out for Railway.
