Keith Wood and Geordan Murphy have been named on the English Premiership "dream team" voted for by the players and announced at the awards dinner of the Professional Rugby Players Association in London last night.

England centre Mike Catt was named players' player of the year and Steve Borthwick young player of the year.

Lions great Willie John McBride and legendary French centre Philippe Sella were inducted into the PRA hall of fame.

Meanwhile John O'Neill, the Australian Rugby Union chief, has hit back at claims by English RU chief executive Francis Baron that it is unfair that the hosts will pocket the money from sponsorship and television rights generated by the Lions tour.

The Lions will be paid £1.2 million sterling and have all their tour costs met, and O'Neill said it was "dangerous" to claim that any profit should be shared.

"The whole reciprocity which supports world rugby will be brought under threat," he added.
