Kiev - President Leonid Kuchma said yesterday Ukraine would accept FBI help to establish if a headless corpse is that of missing reporter Georgiy Gongadze, but the journalist's friends criticised the move as blatant propaganda.
Mr Kuchma has been under pressure to resign since the discovery of the mutilated corpse in woods outside Kiev in November and the publication of tapes in which a voice, similar to Mr Kuchma's, says he wants rid of the journalist.
