What is it?

• The Supplemental Register allows people who have missed the deadline for inclusion on the Electoral Register to vote.

• Every Irish citizen ordinarily resident in the State who is aged 18 years or over and is on the register is eligible to vote.

Where:The application form, code RFA2, is available from county councils, corporations, post offices and public libraries.

What next?The form, including a certificate of identity witnessed at a Garda station, should be completed and delivered to the relevant local authority.

What about access this weekend?As some local authorities are closed on Saturday, applicants should ascertain opening hours. The Department of the Environment has requested that applications received in local authority offices by Monday opening be treated as valid applications.
