The British government's draft Freedom of Information Bill has been criticised by the Sinn Fein spokeswoman on justice, Ms Bairbre de Brun. She yesterday described it as seriously flawed and "an Exemption from Information Bill rather than a Freedom of Information Bill".
"We are particularly concerned that it will make public access to information from any of the British armed forces, including the RUC, virtually impossible," added Ms de Brun.
