Leaflets in four languages offering a substantial cash reward for information leading to the identification of the body found in the city's Royal Canal last week are being handed out by gardai in Dublin today.

Thousands leaflets in English, Arabic, French and Portuguese are being distributed as part of the Garda's search for information on the dismembered body found on March 30 th. The head of the victim has not yet been found.

The Crimestoppers service has offered "a substantial" cash reward for information leading to the identification of the man, or where he was killed.

More than 500 lines of inquiry are being pursued by gardai based in Dublin's Fitzgibbon St Garda Station.

It is believed that victim was black and in this twenties or thirties. His torso has sustained multiple stab wounds.
