Nokia has unveiled a data card to bring GPRS technology to laptops and handheld devices

Nokia has unveiled a data card to bring GPRS technology to laptops and handheld devices. The Nokia D211 has been designed to work on emerging 2.5G networks.

It will allow users to send and receive of emails, text messages, and browse the web wirelessly via their laptops.

"Users will need only one device for mobile data services and email, and have more options for connecting to the Internet and the company Intranet," said spokesman Seppo Laukkanen.

"Its an excellent product to compliment our business portfolio."
