Tipperary football manager Tom McGlinchy has tendered his resignation following his side's recent exit from the championship.
McGlinchy made his decision in the wake of Tipp's defeat by Donegal on Saturday.
Elsewhere, Limerick midfielder John Quane remains a major doubt for Sunday's Munster football final against Kerry at Killarney
Quane is suffering from an ankle problem sustained last month, and injury that flared up in a recent challenge match. Manager Liam Kearns has said he will not start the veteran player if he is not fully fit.
