A Dublin man who was convicted in December of an assault outside a suburban fast-food restaurant has been jailed for four years by Judge Dominic Lynch. Liam Byrne (20), Raleigh Square, Crumlin, was found guilty by a jury at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court on December 20th of causing serious harm to former League of Ireland soccer player Mr Trevor Donnelly outside Abrakebabra in the Crumlin Shopping Centre on April 23rd, 2000.
