A man arrested as part of the Garda investigation into the murder of Det Garda Jerry McCabe was still being detained last night in Cobh, Co Cork, under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
The man was arrested early on Thursday morning following a raid on a house in the Carrigtwohill area by local gardai and members of the Emergency Response Unit.
